First there was...

I went into the movie theater to see Milk on Sunday at 4:00pm, and came out to essentially this scene. I knew it had been raining, but Jesus H. Christ! The snow did not stop til the next day well after the sun came up.  So this was Monday morning:
This weekend is forecasted to be in the 70s and sunny, which I find hard to believe. But, it did warm up yesterday and today is probably going to be 60. My wardrobe is SO confused! I loved the snow though, it took me back to college and Chicago, which incidentally I'll be flying into Sunday night.

I interview at Mt. Sinai on Monday late morning and then have to tell VTCC whether I'm accepting their offer by Friday.

In the meantime, I'm all about the dissertation. Because I worked myself into quite The Tizzy yesterday, I trolled the Baylor Graduate School website for about an hour and discovered that I have until the first week in July (at the latest) to defend my dissertation in order to make the August graduation. I breathed a major sigh of relief.  I also learned quite a bit about formatting, which is going to be a major pain in the ass. But I will celebrate this pain once I have a final draft of my dissertation to format! Ay ya yaye. The hoops just keep on coming!

1 year ago this week I jetted off to Chicago and then to Paris for a fabulous spring break. I just have to wait til June 30 this year to have my-very-own-first-time-in-several-years summer break!
