Saturdays are for working.

I'm sure the French would not agree. Neither would the Italians. But, many of my friends work on Saturdays, as a part time thing, as a contingent thing, and sometimes even as a regular part of a full time thing! I am more on the contingent side of things and have, of late, felt the need to do more Social Security evaluations in Dr. Brooks' private practice. I took a hiatus starting in January as I was traveling for internship interviews and he was feeling pressed about a book manuscript deadline. But now our schedules are clearer, and I can use the cash!

In other news, I received my official "offer" letter from VTCC and found out that I will be making a whopping $18,500 next year! Ooooh, ahhhh. Child clinical internships are at the bottom of the barrel pay-wise. I'm not sure the reason for that. Air Force and federal forensic sites pay the most-- and by the most I mean 3 times my stipend for next year!
